Reviews about Prednisolone.
With Prednisolone I have faced in 17 years. At this age, I was diagnosed with arthritis. I had swollen joints of my hands and knees. I was prescribed these pills, told to take 1 piece 8 times a day. Of the side effects were terrible appetite, and consequently weight gain, especially in the face area. But I immediately started to feel better, the pain and swelling are gone. After I stopped taking Prednisolone, I returned to normal appearance after about a year. Polyarthritis doesn’t bother me for 10 years.
My granddaughter has had allergies with terrible edema. She was admitted to hospital and prescribed among other drugs Prednisolone. During use, she increased appetite, but decreased immunity. Stop taking it abruptly can not be, you need to gradually reduce the dose. Gradually the negative effects are gone. But most importantly, this drug has helped the granddaughter to cope with allergies.
My daughter had atypical jaundice, which then added hepatitis. Atypical jaundice is when direct and indirect bilirubin is almost 50/50. It’s not normal. The treatment of this disease prescribe a corticosteroid, and refers to them Prednisolone. Got the pills on schedule, which was painted by a doctor, gradually reducing the dose. A month later, biochemical analysis showed that bilirubin is normal.
